The High Street, School Road, and Aldworth Road in Compton, will be closed during the hours of 08.00 to 20.00 each weekday only, between the 25^th July and the 2^nd September 2022, the closure will be between its junction with Wilson Close and its junction with Unnamed Road from Aldworth Road to Uplands.

It is envisaged that the closure will be carried out in 3 x phases, High Street, School road, and then Aldworth Road, each phase will be advertised locally throughout the duration.

An alternative route is via (clockwise) Road known as Aldworth Road, Road known as Haw Lane (B4009), Road known as Wyld Court Hill, Church St, Water Street, Unnamed Road from Ilsley Road to Newbury Hill, Newbury Road, Ilsley Road, and vice versa.

The purpose of this closure is for maintenance and repairs to manhole covers.

Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site.
